PRAXIS DIARRHEA RELIEFPraxis Anti-Diarrhea (Loperamide) provides rapid relief of diarrhea, often with just one dose!
Each caplet of Praxis Anti-Diarrhea contains: 2 mg of Loperamide Hydrochloride.
DOSAGE: Adults and children 12 years and over: 2 caplets initially followed by 1 caplet after each loose bowel movement.
Maximum: 8 caplets a day. Not recommended for children under 12 years except on the advise of a physician.
1. Drink plenty of clear fluids, water, unsweetened juices or clear soups.
2. Do not drink alcohol or milk, and avoid fruits, green vegetables and spicy or fatty foods. These items tend to aggravate diarrhea.
While diarrhea is not normally a serious condition, you should consult your doctor immediately if it is associated with high fever (102 oF or 39 oC) or if blood is present in the stools. If diarrhea does not resolve within 48 hours, discontinue the medication and consult your physician. Do not exceed the recommended dose. In case of overdosage, consult a physician immediately.
Praxis Anti-Diarrhea (Loperamide tablets) should not be used in pregnant or nursing women except on the advice of a physician.
