Neurontin

Neurontin is prescribed for the treatment of three different conditions:
  1. Postherpetic Neuralgia (PHN - pain following shingles
  2. Partial Seizures in Adults
  3. Partial Seizures in children three years and older
When prescribed to treat PHN, Neurontin can begin to relieve the pain in as little as 1 week.

When prescribed to prevent seizures, Neurontin is prescribed in incremental dosages in order to find the correct one for you. Neurontin is available in three different forms - in capsules, tablets, or by oral solution.
