Lexapro is indicated when a patient exhibits at least one of the following symptoms: depressed mood, loss of appetite, loss of interest in usual activities, significant change in weight or appetite, insomnia or hypersomnia, psychomotor agitation or retardation, increased fatigue, feelings of guilt or worthlessness, slowed thinking or impaired concentration, or suicidal idealition or attempts.
