Seroquel

Seroquel is used to treat psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia. It works by affecting the actions of certain chemicals in the brain known as neurotransmitters. Seroquel is usually started with a fairly small dose in order to allow the body to get used to it. The doctor will then usually increase the dose until the most effective dose is reached. Different people will need different doses, and your doctor will prescribe the dose for you that best meets your needs. Seroquel can be taken with or without food.
