Paxil
Paxil is an antidepressant of the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) type. Paxil was released onto the market in 1992 by Glaxo-Smith-Kline and has since become one of the most successful antidepressants on the market. Like some other antidepressants, it can also be used in the treatment of anxiety disorders. Paxil was the first antidepressant formally approved in the United States for the treatment of social phobia.

Paxil Side Effects
Side effects on Paxil are infrequent after the initial adjustment period, but can include somnolence, sexual side effects, nausea, yawning, headache/migrane on withdrawl. If you experience any of the following symptoms, call your doctor immediately:- jaw, neck, and back muscle spasms
- fever, chills, sore throat, or flu-like symptoms
- yellowing of the skin or eyes
