Lexapro Precautions
Lexapro can be taken with most medications with the exception of monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) such as Nardil and Parnate. Patients should also be cautioned about the concomitant use of Lexapro and NSAIDs, aspirin, or other drugs that affect coagulation.
| Patients with major depressive disorder - both adults and children - may experience worsening of their depression and/or the emergence of suicidal ideation and behaviour, whether or not they are taking antidepressant medications, and this risk may persist until significant remission occurs. |
