Evista Precautions
| When taking EVISTA, you should avoid prolonged periods of immobility, and avoid taking certain other medications. Being still for a long time can increase the risk of blood clots. Evista may add to this risk. If you will need to be still for a long time, you should talk to your health care provider about ways to reduce the risk of blood clots. On long trips, you should move around periodically. Always tell your doctor and pharmacist about all of the medicines you are taking or start taking, including Evista. These include all prescription medicines as well as over-the-counter and herbal medicines. Your doctor or healthcare professional and your pharmacist need this information to help prevent druck interactions that might harm you. Some medicines that should not be taken with Evista are estrogen patches or choloestyramine. |
