Diovan Precautions

Do not take Diovan or Diovan HCT while pregnant. Usage of Diovan during the second and third trimester can cause injury and even death to the developing fetus. When pregnancy is detected, Diovan or Diovan HCT should be discontinued as soon as possible. The benefits of Diovan and Diovan HCT are contraindicted in patients who are hypersensitive to any component of these products. No significant adverse effects were determined with Diovan and Diovan HCT versus a placebo.
