| Bextra is not for everyone. Prescription Bextra should not be taken if you've had allergic reactions to certain drugs called sulfonamides, to aspirin, or to other arthritis medicines, or if you've had aspirin-sensitive asthma. Bextra is not recommended if you have advanced kidney disease.Bextra should not be taken in late pregnancy. Tell your doctor if you have kidney, liver, or fluid-retention problems. In rare cases, serious stomach problems such as bleeding can occur without warning. Serious skin reactions can also occur. If you think you are having an allergic reaction, or if you have other severe or unusual symptoms while taking Bextra, call your doctor or other healthcare professional immediately. |
