| Altace (ramipril) is indicated to reduce the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, or death from cardiovascular (CV) causes in patients 55 or older who are at high risk for these events either because of a history of CV disease or because of diabetes plus at least one other CV risk factor. Altace (ramipril) is the only angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor with clinical evidence supporting this indication. |
