Mesasal belongs to the family of drugs known as Anti-inflammatory agent medicine which is also known as Bowel disease (inflammatory) suppressant drug and commonly used for the treatment of the symptoms of inflammatory bowel disease, such as ulcerative colitis. Mesasal works inside the bowel by helping to reduce the inflammation and other symptoms of the disease. Inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) are a group of chronic disorders that cause inflammation of the small and large intestines.
