Product Information

Mepitel is a transparent micro-adherent wound contact layer with Safetac (Which is a medical grade silicone gel that provides selective micro-adherent properties). It protects the wound bed while promoting undistributed wound healing and decreases the risk of maceration. The Mepitel conforms well to body contours, promoting patient comfort during wear. It can remain in place for 7 days or longer. It is ideal for granulating wounds, skin tears, digit injuries, second degree burns, skin grafts, etc.
